Morosini-Grimani Castle was the only one in Istria to receive the "Golden Pin" award and was among the 10 most beautiful castles and palaces in Croatia according to ratings and reviews by Google Maps users.
The idea of awarding the best rated places was born in Poland as part of the celebration of the 15th birthday of Google Maps, and three years later it was extended to Croatia in the "Castles and Palaces" category. Among the winners are magnificent and impressive castles and palaces that, with their unique appearance and numerous legends, revive the spirit of the past and tell the story of Croatia's rich past. The Golden Pin award is a special recognition because although it is awarded by Google, it is actually a recognition of users and visitors who have experienced the place in person.
From the Morosini-Grimani castle, they say: "This is why we would like to express our special thanks to all our visitors who appreciate and notice our work, as well as our valuable employees who have been among the praises of the reviews countless times. This kind of award is proof of commitment and effort that is invested in the management itself, all in order to make the visitors satisfied, which is confirmed by this award."
Among the other awardees in Croatia were: Trakošćan Castle, Eltz Castle, Old Town Čakovec, Trsat Castle, Veliki Tabor Castle, Old Town Ozalj, Frankopan Castle Krk and Diocletian's Palace and Sponza Palace.
All of you who haven't, this is real proof that the Morosini-Grimani castle must be visited, and we are sure that the visit will not disappoint you!
