Colors, creativity and great wine. In just a few words, we can summarize the first Wine & Art workshop held on Saturday, November 27th at the Morosini-Grimani Castle. The wine painting and tasting workshop was led by Mirna Sišul, an award-winning artist from Rijeka. This is the first such workshop held in Istria, a new and fresh approach where the art of wine and the art of painting are combined, with an emphasis on the participants themselves who combine these two arts to create their own works of art.
The workshop was held in the gallery of the Morosini-Grimani castle in Svetvincenat starting at 7 p.m. It is an original workshop where under the "brush" of Mirna Sišul the participants learned to express their creative side, all under the guidance of the technique of drawing on canvas in the style of a famous artist. A touch of freshness, innovative approach and glamor of this workshop in a real castle in Istria resulted in many new works of art. Each participant had the opportunity to express their imagination on canvas with a wide range of colors that made the workshop equally colorful, as well as the final works that were presented at the end.
In addition to painting on canvas, the accompanying content of the workshop was tasting of In Sylvis wine. Three different wines of these young producers were tasted, as follows:
- Istrian Malvasia, 2020 (dry white)
- Arbor Teran, 2017 (dry black, aged)
- Florence Rose, 2020. (semi-sweet pink)
The price of the workshop was 250kn, and it included:
- expert guidance in painting your own painting on canvas with Mirna Sišul
- 3 glasses of In Sylvis wine
- 2 free tickets for a daily visit to the Morosini-Grimani castle, which participants can use during the regular working hours of the castle
The number of places in the workshop was limited so that everyone could get their dose of attention and interaction with the artist, and also to keep the spirit of this form of workshop in an intimate tone.
The first Wine & Art workshop of such concept was sold out in a short time, and the next one is already on December 11th.
We therefore invite all interested parties to follow our social networks when we inform you in good time about all the details related to the new date of the workshop.
