In the Morosini-Grimani castle on Friday, September 17th, the ceremony of "Tourist Patrol" awards of Večernji list was held. The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Tourism and Sports Nikolina Brnjac, who also presented the award to the Mayor of Svetvinčenat - Dean Perković for winning the prestigious award of Svetvinčenat as the best continental destination.

According to the evaluation criteria of the "Tourist Patrol": tidiness, appearance and cleanliness of the place, accommodation, facilities for children, hospitality of the hosts, picnic areas, cultural facilities and recreational facilities, cycling and hiking trails, Svetvinčenat profiled as the best land destination for family tourism. Out of a possible hundred, Svetvinčenat recieved 95 points, which made Svetvinčenat the champion of the "Tourist Patrol" of Večernji list this year among 15 other candidates in the same category.

The awards were also given to Drvenik as the best destination on the coast, and to the Astoria restaurant in the gastronomic offer category.
